He served as the Official Life Coach for the audience of KVUE TV in Austin, TX. Darryl is the author of several books and programs.

Darryl is a graduate of West Point, has parachuted hundreds of times, Run with the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain, partied at Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, dived for pearls in Tahiti, competed (carrying his wife) in the World Wife Carrying Championships in Finland, backpacked Asia, wrestled alligators, and hosted a family-focused TV show. As a kid, he was a snake wrangler, a horse whisperer, and picked oranges with migrant workers.
