Malissa “Mali” Hunter
Malissa “Mali” Hunter is the ultimate renaissance woman, as a Grammy-nominated artist/producer, Emmy winning actor, businesswoman, celebrity chef, TV host, and philanthropist, she proves that you can do anything you put your mind to if you believe!
Her reputation in the entertainment industry as an artist advocate, A&R, and Producer is one like no other as she cares deeply for not just the art but the artist themselves.
As a health and wellness expert, Mali believes the secret to staying peaceful and balanced lies within the food and thought choices you make daily. Sharing health & wellness/brain foods is one platform she is especially proud of.
As a revered producer who has been thanked and credited for her work with artists such as J.Cole, T.I., Ne-yo, Carly Simon, Chris Brown, Drake, Rick Ross, Lenny Kravitz, and many more, she selflessly shares her culinary gifts with them all.
Mali also shares her passion for meditation and manifesting a positive life through her yoga workshops and sessions around the country. Her practices have been showcased on Oprah’s Own Network’s “Flex & Shanice” show along with A&E’s “Born This Way”.
She has also enjoyed sharing healthy recipes and libations on NBC’s Atlanta & Company for the past 7 years. Chef Mali’s popularity comes from the nourishing comfort meals she selflessly has made for everyone at StoneWood Studios & StoneWood Ranch Estates. This is her newest venture & home to the Earth Angel Worldwide Non-Profit, the Private University, and Camp Grounds for her EarthGirl community. EarthGirl was founded in 2008 to help women of color compete in the world of entertainment while healing from past trauma.
While all women experience hardships in life Mali & the Earth Angel team understand what needs to be done to level the playing field. As founder and leader of the EarthGirl movement & community, she understands women of all races and doesn’t feed into colorism or ageism.
Knowing that Black and Hispanic women are disproportionately impacted by racism, colorism, and 100 other ism’s that we all know to exist EarthGirl has made it a focus to give a helping hand to those in need.
The standards that so often define what is beautiful are skewed by those in the media who only want to portray white faces. Mali and the Earth Angel group have given women of color a voice, mentorship programs, therapy, and the opportunity to generate capital without dealing with harassment and other hardships that are often brushed under the rug in the entertainment industry.
Over the past 15 years, Mali has become a Grammy Nominated producer, Grammy Winning as a studio owner, and an Emmy-winning actress featured on A&E and Oprah’s Own network.
The sky is the limit for Mali and with gratitude, she graces these many philanthropic platforms & new business ventures.
